The Shirt Says It All

Love this 10 cent garage sale shirt we picked up this summer!

Brrrrrr!

Logan went sledding for the 1st time the other day. I wasn't thinking he'd spend much time outside this year, but he has other thoughts on this!

Yes, Brian was tied to the sled pulling the boys (while running/carrying Logan). He's never empty handed! Connor now imitates his Dad and pulls the 2 little guys w/ the rope around him.
The big boys had a little fun too...

Weird

Ask a 5 year old to empty the dishwasher and this is what you get...The tower actually included a LOT of breakable stuff until mean mom intervened. He does know how to empty it horizontally, but guess today he was feeling a little creative. Yes, I've got lots of "help" in the kitchen : P
And this was the sea creature crawling across the kitchen floor around that time. Not sure what we were doing, but it was a LOT of fun.

Missing Summer ... Already

It's the 1st day here that we've kept snow on the ground this winter... so it felt like a good time to post some summer pictures that I never got around to...
(Lana & Jess, recognize these?)

We had a family reunion on my Dads side this summer. Connor loves getting together w/ his 2nd cousin Cora.
The kids favorite toy at the reunion
In the zone
Little people table at the reunionConnor was very impressed w/ Cora's yard... it even had a climbing wall
Logan sacked out w/ Amanda on a hammock @ the reunion
At home again... swinging
With Daddy
Cheesin'
Ty & Weston watching the big kids in their swim lessons
Logan

With Mommy......and his ball

Santa Who?!?

I was grocery shopping this week w/ our 2 youngest when a lady came up and started talking to the kids. We were waiting at the deli counter at the time. The woman was getting to the typical Christmas questions that they always seem to ask this time of year...

Lady: "Are you waiting for Santa to come?"
Ty: Thinks for a minute since he has no idea who Santa is. Then says, "No, I waiting foe ham".

I thought it was hilarious. Count on a little kid to know how to stop the questions : )

Birthday Boy

Our little guy turned one last month, so thought we'd post some pictures of his day. Plus a few extra to show how busy he's getting : )I tip the slide over sometimes because he seems to be lacking ANY judgment when it's left right side up! He still manages to find something to do w/ it upside down.
Sharing?!
Last month he gave the crawling up for walking, so we're not seeing much of this anymore.
Keeping up w/ his brothers, he does tricks w/ Daddy too
Stealing his Dad's hat
He loves to ride their rocking horse. It's a big workout for someone so short!
We got the boys doughnuts on Logan's bd and they were pretty happy about it : ) Thought we'd practice the messy face thing in the morning so we'd be ready for the cake that night!

Logan's favorite entertainment on his birthday. Yes, dumping out 200 popsicle sticks on the floor kept him busier than the presents he got. Figures!
Not winning any cake decorating awards, but he didn't seem to mind!
Mmmmm!

Connor showing off the card he made for Logan. If you need interpretation... this is Curious George on the front : )
Sitting on the table trying to figure out his new toy. He had some eager "helpers" nearby

Convention w/ Cousins

Now that convention is long gone, I thought I'd post our pictures! All of the little cousins on this side (Adriana, Chloe, Mallory, Connor, Ty, Rochelle & Logan)
Thought this was cute of the little girls! Wonder how long they'll be able to share a lawn chair : )
Loved little Mallory's face in this picture. So sweet!
Thought Connor looked like a mini Dad holding Mallory like this : )
Ty hanging out too
We even got to have Cole & Angie & girls back this year...
Logan didn't think cousins were all that great apparently
Grandma & Grandpa w/ most of their great grandkids. The last picture like this was when they had 8 greats and now they have over 20!
Most of the family that was there this year
