Nothing... Zilch... Zero...

Well, thought we'd join the false alarm club this am! Went to the hospital w/ contractions that I was sure were the real thing... and here we are back home again! Lucky for us Julie happened to be staying over last night, so we didn't have to recruit a sitter in the middle of the night... not so lucky for her since she didn't get much sleep then either : P Baby seems to be doing well although I think he's a stinker for being the 1st of ours to pull this particular trick. According to the nurse we don't have any measurements to show that all the contractions have been doing anything besides being good practice (thought the 1st two boys gave me all the practice I'd need!). Pretty much the baby is engaged... no other signs of baby arriving today, or tomorrow, or ever!! Guess we aren't due for another 6 days so we'll see if we can round up some patience to meet our little guy. Hope we'll have somebody little to introduce on our next post!

Little Taste of Fall

The extent of our fall decorations this year... funny how a mum for $4.50 can make a girl so happy! My milk jug has hid out in the garage since I bought it this summer, so was happy to pull it out & pair it up w/ something!

Roasting Marshmallows

We went to Helen & Shauns over Labor Day weekend & saw some friends we don't get to see very often. Got to meet Dan & Amy's little sweetheart Miriam : ) Really fun night relaxing & eating too much food!

Didn't take many pictures, but got a few of the little buddies enjoying their marshmallows & sharing a chair. Bet they won't be fitting into one chair for long!

Double Trouble

A new game on their slide. Ty would ride down & crash into Connor & then wrap his arms around Connors neck for him to flop him off the side onto a comforter. Loads of fun!

Target Practice

Hunting season is here according to the boys at our house! Here are some pictures of a few Saturdays ago when Connor was getting some target practice. I have a feeling he'll get more time at the target than his Daddy will! Ty follows along w/ suction cup arrows & Connors old bow. Will have to get some pictures of that next time... we hadn't set him up yet when these were taken.

School Days

Connor started preschool a few weeks ago & so far seems to love it (especially the bus ride... funny how that doesn't last!). I drove him to school the first few days & found out that it is apparently WAY more fun to ride w/ the kids on the bus than w/ Mom (when did that happen?!) Ty & I are having fun spending a little time together in the mornings on our own... it's crazy how quiet it is w/ just one little boy at home in the morning! Glad to have some time with him especially with baby arriving soon...
