Had to laugh...

This morning Ty was pretty upset to find that his Daddy wasn't home. We knew he might be since Brian was home a lot last week (between all of us getting the flu & having X-mas off). So the boys came in our room this a.m. & got into bed for a few minutes. And then he made me laugh. He was checking all over the bed for Brian & even had to check under my pillow... in case I'd somehow managed to hide him under there. Guess in Ty's mind Daddy can be pocket size!

Cuddle Bug

Our Sled Team

The boys got to tag along w/ Brian on their sled while he plowed the other day. The plowing took a little longer, but they looked pretty happy about their set up. We have a video of it, but it wouldn't attach somehow. Will have to see if we can figure it out : PBundled up
Ty was just a big lump. He sacked out on Connor like this the whole time. Guess he was getting comfortable : )
A few adjustments along the way

PJ's

I wanted a picture of the boys in their cozy pajamas & here is what we got...
(Angie... recognize Ty's jammies?)
When I told them I wanted a picture of them together, this is how they sat. Not really the pose I was looking for, but maybe they needed some personal space... who knows!

Our Moral Dilemma

When you see your 2 year old on the floor holding a glue stick... do you tell him that it isn't a giant chapstic before he applys it to his lips?! Would have made for a pretty quiet Saturday around here if Ty had been left w/ the Elmer's much longer! Imagine if gluing their lips together really worked, some desperate parent may have tried it by now : P

The best thing about birthdays...

...the cake! Thankfully the boys don't seem to care that their Mom's cakes aren't exactly pretty. Will have to take a cake decorating class someday! Ty sat looking at his cake for a long time... just waiting for everyone to show up for his birthday party I guess : )
Excited about his cake
This was taken before we told him he'd have to share the cake. No, not really sure what this smile was about - but he looked pretty happy anyway
Candle licking
Taste testing went fine apparently!
Not sure what this was about exactly... but made me laugh
Aahhh

Turning Two

Ty turned 2 on the 29th so we got to celebrate at my parents over Thanksgiving. He got lots of fun presents from family, so thought we'd post him enjoying a few. Thanks everyone for helping make his birthday special...
Ty modeling a future coat he was sent... not a great picture but thought it was crazy that he'll fit into this in 2 years! Big brother is proudly wearing it for now : )
Very proud that he'd been sent a box in the mail. He paraded around with it for a bit before realizing we should open it : )
Opening presents at my parents -w/ a little help from big brother of course
Hugging his new stuffed frog...
Trying out the new kaleidoscope...
Lots of fun loading & emptying his new piggy bank. He wants to carry it around the house, but mean old Mommy can see it not lasting so long in his little 2 year old hands : P
A few pictures of the piggy bank so his Aunt can see how cute it turned out : )

Lots of flour...

Ty helped me bake some bread/cinnamon rolls the other day while Connor was at school. As you can see, he was pretty happy to be right in the middle of the mess "helping". Wearing a little flour
Pretty serious about this lime apparently

Little Hunters

Here are a few pictures from the opening gun hunting weekend. The boys and I slept over at Jeff & Julies while Brian met his brother to hunt at their land. We got to do some shopping (as much as you can w/ 3 boys along!) and the kids got spoiled by Julie w/ toys, playdough & lots of treats.
Have a feeling there will be lots of pictures w/ these 3 in camo in our future : )
Connor & Logan... Ty wasn't feeling so cooperative
Our BIG hunter... pretending these were his trophys instead of Jeffs

Connorisms...

Connor told me yesterday who he was going to marry... and then proceeded to tell me that he was going to give her a REALLY nice present... an escavator. I'm guessing she wouldn't be too thrilled. And of course while she drives the escavator, he plans to drive the bulldozer.

His latest phrase that makes us laugh is... "I'm frozen salad!" Can't seem to break it to him that it's supposed to be frozen solid : )

We've been having lots of trouble waking him up lately for school w/o him being grumpy (probably has a lot to do w/ the late bedtimes, but would love any tips on getting kids off to school happily!). I asked him last night what he'd like me to do differently so that we could have a better morning. He thought about it for awhile and then said "Let me sleep longer". We had to laugh... that wasn't really one of the options! I think we'll set him up w/ an alarm clock next week and see how that goes...

Little Guy...

Another installment of baby pictures... can't seem to resist. So crazy how much they change in a few weeks. Really I WILL post something besides Logan sometime, just need to get the other 2 to slow down for some pictures... and then get to posting them! Hoping to get some of the 3 of them today all in their camo since it's the big gun hunting weekend. Happy hunting to all that go... Mini photo session last night

Side view of little chubby
Full view of little pudge
Looking a little sad...
A little mad...
Had to show off his chubby cheeks. This was early this week after his bath : )

A few hospital pictures...

Yes, I know I'm really behind in posting these. Thought there were a few funny ones anyways...
Our own little Mickey. Jeff & Julie brought the kids balloons and Connor thought this was a really funny trick hiding behind the balloon to have a Mickey head. Ahh, 4 year old humor : )
A little blurry, but liked this picture of Connor w/ Aunt Amanda

2 cute little visitors that came to see us. Thanks to everyone that came to visit : )

This one cracked me up. I'd bundled him up and he looked so teeny in the big hospital bed. What a little bundle!

Liked this picture of all these boys

Blurry again. but loved that this is how he thought he should wait to hold Logan. Apparently he was all ready for his turn w/ little brother.

One Month Old

Hard for me to believe, but Logan is now a month old! He's really filling out so thought we'd at least post a few pictures (for those Gramma's out there!). Yes, we still have our other 2 boys... apologize for not posting much about them lately... just seems like the littlest one is the one that is changing the most so he gets the spotlight for now : P Sacked out w/ Daddy. Note: Daddy was sleeping, baby was not. Typical!
Wrestling w/ his chubby cheeks
Logan naps while I fold laundry on our bed (yes I know he can't be left w/ all the pillows... this is all supervised sleeping!)
and more napping...
Cozy & Cuddly

Our Boys

Here are some pictures of the kids last week at home. I have lots more pictures from earlier to post but doesn't seem to be enough time to post them! Will try to catch up soon... but hope this gives you an idea how our littlest is changing and that the boys love having a baby brother : ) The three musketeers
A little brotherly love

Logan is learning to share his personal space... weather he wants to or not!
