Pet turtle for the day

Loved these pictures of Connor with his pet turtle. I'd been digging around the artesian well in our yard to try and put some edging in and disturbed a baby turtle... sooo Connor had a pet turtle for the day. He was pretty sure it would like to live in a bucket in the garage for the rest of it's life, but we convinced him that he'd miss his brothers and sisters and might like the crick better. Bet we'll be finding lots of these if I keep up on my project.

Connor and Leo

Thought his little grubby hands looked cute here... typical boy hands : ) Little turtle had jumped in the crick and Connor scooped him out of some VERY irony water (thus the mucky hands).

Keeping them Busy

Here is one of the "projects" the boys were involved with while Brian tried to get some work done outside. It started with just a hammer and nails and ended up w/ Daddy and his power tools. Not sure how much work got done : )

In the yard

Thought I could post a couple pictures of things OTHER than our children for once : ) This is currently my favorite tree in the yard.

Baby Update

Well, we are apparently trying for our own football team... found out this morning that we'll be having another little boy : ) Now I'll really be outnumbered! Baby looked really sweet (and busy!) though so maybe it won't be too rough being the only girl in the house for now : ) Brian thinks this guarantees that we will someday own a boat and a four wheeler. Boys and their toys! Now to start digging out the name books...

Grubby!

Had to take this picture of Ty yesterday to record his dirtiest face so far! He likes to dig in the sand and rub/dump it all over himself. Needless to say he had a bath before Gospel Meeting : )

Is this really an inside toy?!

Not sure if this toy is more fun for the boys or their Daddy! We inherited this mini motorcycle from cousin Joel and the boys have been working on it together this spring (just had some tire trouble). They now drive it around the kitchen/dining room/island as a treat when Brian gets home from work. Not sure if I love this idea, but it is pretty funny to see the smiles on their faces and pretty funny to see Brian on something this size. He even convinced me to take it for a spin (note: no pictures!!). Will probably become an outside toy very soon!!

Brian thought this was pretty funny... Ty's ride of choice is no longer his rocking horse.

Boys in their Blue Jeans

Thought the boys were cute the other day waiting for the bath to fill up. The little guy has recently figured out where the tub toys are stored... which means he now thinks he needs to unload the entire drawer of squirt guns and squeeze toys into the tub. And don't you try to stop him... he takes this VERY seriously!! I now have to throw him in after he's only gotten a few things out and let him "help" fill up the tub... this keeps things peaceful since he hasn't caught on yet that his mission of toy collecting gets interrupted.
