So this is 6?!

Connor turned 6 while we were at the cabin so we had a little birthday party w/ the family. As you can see we have entered the squirly age!!

Thank goodness his cake wish was for cupcakes w/ sprinkles. That is something this Mom can handle! They'll have to rely on their Aunts for the decorated cakes!!

Airplane Tour

One of the friends we meet w/ up north is a pilot and flies this plane for his job fighting fires. He took us for a tour of the plane on our trip & it was really cool.

Week at the Cabin

Last week we spent the week at the cabin w/ Mom & Dad... Amanda & Zhenya too for part of the time. The kids crashed at the end of the day, which usually means the trip was a success : )

The boys all tried the knee board. Funny that even the little guy had to go. Brian went along for the ride too.

Lately

You may have forgotten what our kids look like since it's been eons since the last picture post... so here are a few things the kids have been doing the last week...


This was our first time going to "Breakfast on the Farm". The kids had a great time & we gained a few pounds while we were there (breakfast included pancakes, sausage, yogurt, cheese curds, mini doughnuts, juice, chocolate milk & a big strawberry sundae to wrap it up!)

In line for the big inflatable slide.(Connor, Ty & Hannah) Not sure how we ended up w/o anyone throwing up... they went straight from their huge breakfast to going down the slide about 10 times each & then took a turn jumping on the blow up trampoline.

The boys have been able to have a few friends over to swim (between thunderstorms!). Didn't manage to get any pictures when Hannah & Nolan were here, but got a few of Emma, Olivia, Weston & Levi...

Popsicle Party

And on rainy days we...

Last week was really rainy so I dug out our costume bin and boy did our little superhero's have fun : ) I had picked these up this year after Halloween was over at Once Upon a Child... for a $1... guess it helps not to have to beat the Halloween rush! The kids don't even know their superhero stories, but their imagination seems to be doing just fine. Connor has the Spiderman web flinging move down... where do they pick up this stuff?!

Any suggestions???

Yes it's been eons since our last post... eeps.... will get some pictures out here soon! Just thought I'd get a quick post out to say that we will be changing the blog name.... because we found out yesterday that WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!!! So we will no longer just be "Busy w/ Boys" : ) And yes, we're a little excited about this : ) : ) : ) Not to say that we weren't excited about having 4 little boys here, (or that there's no chance this little person could arrives and actually be another little guy like we were assuming). But the thought of having a little girl is pretty thrilling to all of us... to say the least! (Except Ty who isn't sure if he "hates" girls or not. Guessing he will warm up to the idea of a little sister by the time October rolls around). So any blog name suggestions?

Mohawks & Mustaches

The kids always get a treat during/after haircuts. Apparently Connors treat was chocolate as he seems to be wearing a bit in this picture. He did NOT like the mohawk, but it lasted long enough to snap a picture.

Into goggles again. This time he is actually submerging himself rather than just wearing them to look cool(?!?)

Funny that he asked for me to take this picture! It may be time to get some new goggles... these are looking a bit snug.

Brian was gone for 3 weeks in S.D. so Connor was the little man of the house. Here he has taken over dinner duty (Brian holds Logan @ the end of supper usually, so Connor did the honors).
